EUROPE models did electric start from the beginning 88 onwards. Weird right but that's what all dtr have the blanked off electric start parts

Just bought a 1989 DT125RE 25 years since I owned the same colour and year bike. Needs some cosmetic work but looking forward to tinkering

I'm sure it's a DTR, which is a cool bike.

In europe DTRs with the optional electric start were known as a DTRE, although obviously not the remodel of 2004
