So if I have a pair of the sm wheels from the x do they fit straight up to the other models as in you don’t need different brake set ups and what’s a set of dt sm wheels worth

@declan No is the short answer. As the disc sizes, calipers and bolt patterns are different. You will need each individual total brake set-up as they are not interchangeable.

@declan Are you trying to have 2 sets of wheels, one SM and one Enduro, for your DTR???

@NINJA a set of rough condition sm’s popped up and I was tempted I’ve always wanted to sm the dt but I don’t ride anymore then the fact of the brakes not working put me off completely

@declan The rear would be a straightforward to solve, maybe just different spacers are needed? As the discs are the same size I believe? It's the front which is more of a problem though. It would be easier if you had the full set-up with forks etc and did a straight swap of the whole front end. Are you not riding bikes any more or just your DT???

Either make up that adaptor plate which is floating about, or swap the hub of the SM wheel.

Either way it's a simple process. If the wheels are cheap enough, and you want to have the option of both, it's doable

                              Looks smart that.

Been years since I've properly ridden a motorbike.

October was the last time I rode my RS and that was for five minutes. But boy oh boy didn't I half have fun!
