      So with the Starlet dead and me deciding it will want a nut and bolt rebuild, I have decided to get another car!

      I have also moved into my new house and have grabbed my bikes from storage.

      I have bought a 1997 Mazda MX5 Mk1 1.8.this is a real gem of a motor. I have always fancied one and when this one came up I just had to have it.

      It's git 45k on the clocks and at 43k it was sent off to BBR for a turbo conversion. It is sporting a Garrett GT25 turbo with an emanage piggyback ECU. Lowering sorings, stainless system and a few other tweaks

      It wants some love shown to it as it has been in dry storage for several years. Cam belt water pump etc. The usual.

                  @NINJA Yeah it's covered in dust. It's completely straight and clean.

                    @Calum Is it black or a dark blue colour? Looks different anyways.

                      Dark metallic blue. It's a dakar edition.

                        What wheels are they? Look similar to the ones I've got on my Mini

                              @oldman Thank you!

                              I would say let the projects commence...but turns out it's quite expensive!

                                @Calum Before you do anything else, I would recommend that you paint the garage walls and especially the floor. As the bare concrete will just generate dust big-time!!!

                                  @NINJA HAHA! Literally was just reading an article on this! Yes it's literally my first thing I want to do. I had to move it, but before I grab my RS I will definitely be painting the floor!!!!

                                  If you know of it, please recommend a paint and primer.

                                    @Calum The Leyland trade floor paint is top notch, reviews and instructions here;

                                    https://www.whatpaint.co.uk/by-object/garage-floor

                                    Just make sure that you ventilate your garage well during and afterwards. 😉

                                      Haha Snap Calum! I've owned mine just coming on for three years. Bought it as a rolling project, which then turned into, new inner and outer sills, boot floor and rear arches. Happy days. Tempted to post a build thread! haha
