Yeah, it's the same engine. There are a few mounts that aren't right. And the tail pipe is off every slightly. So needs a joiner.
Not particularly worth it IMO. Unless it doesn't cost you anything to make the parts and/or the part you're buying is dirt cheap.
So to confirm.
- Front mount won't align on the expansion chamber
- Middle Mount on expansion chamber won't align
- Rear Silencer doesn't align

Or just some brackets. You will have to have a look on this forum where the mismatch is.
I'm pretty sure there is a photo about how far off the end can is.
it's not worth it IMO. Just get a DEP pipe that's fitted to the bikes frame.

I can't help feel like the contours are different. So you still need to mount the silencer in a different location. It's not worth the faff.

Hhmm, also says it fits all models.
I know there are fitment issues with the DEP Pipe.
Personally wouldn't get an Athena exhaust, would go for something else but it says it'll fit.

That's odd that, as I can't say I'd recommend either of those pipes.
I'm sure they are fine. As I say, the DT just isn't a quick bike, so definitely don't spend too much $$$ trying to make it into something it's not.
By all means release some free ponies and just enjoy it for what it is.

So the power gain is minimal?

Stock gutted is pretty decent.
The benefit is more weight.
If you are handy with a welder, then I'd look at having your current pipe derestricted.
Check this out.
