I have a part for the sidestand that I don’t know how it fits. It is a pressed steel part that the spring fits to, I know that it fits into the ‘bolt through stand’ to frame part, but have no idea precisely where. I can’t find any pics either. I got it recently cause there wasn’t one fitted when I got the bike...
Any info, specially a pic!, would be real sweet...
As it is at the moment, the stand flops around too much and fouls the swing arm. I don’t know if this ‘spring hanger’ goes inside or out of the stand bolt hole end. I will trial and error it eventually if I can’t get an answer, but I’d rather be shown...

P.S. I should add that the previous owner removed the rear foot peg hangers and the side stand switch stuff, the side stand spring is also a bodge, it’s an Allen bolt sandwiched through a hole that’s drilled into the stand mount...

Do the pics not upload automatically any more? Some posts seem to...

@SpookDog no post should upload automatically. I run this website from my house on a small SD card. I can't afford to host images 😂

Cool, it’s good to know, I’d be banging away at it for another age otherwise. It’s really sweet to be able to show pics now, don’t know about a thousand words but it’s sweeeeeeeeet! 😎

This is my stand setup. I’d like a pic of how it’s supposed to be, with the presses steel spring hanger...

                        Wow yeah okay... Interesting solution.

I think there is supposed to be a lug welded on there. Must have snapped off.

Cheers bud, that’s what I needed. The lug that the ‘spring hanger’ slides onto is gone on mine. I thought the hanger went inside the sidestand itself. Almost like a washer. I didn’t know that the ‘spring hanger’ was the activator for the sidestand switch as well. The mount for the sidestand switch is gone in mine. I’ll have to bodge something until I’m ready to get the frame sprayed. I’ll do all the mounts and stripped nuts then...

Sorted now? I get what you mean after seeing Callum’s photo. You’re missing the bit that attaches to the sidestand switch

Mines still got the sidestand switch etc etc and is as you’d so on the showroom floor, do you want me to see if I’ve got a photo for comparison?

No, I’m set. I never had the bit when I got the bike, so I didn’t know how it all hung together. Now I know what to aim for...
