Hello, I am Vito from munich. I rebuild my Dt 125 r from 2001 last winter. I am very happy with the whole bike but i am very unsatisfied with the stock braking power. Is there a possibility to mount a brake caliper that fits P&P? Thank you very much in fellows. Kind regards Vito

@vitoast The only P&P Brake setup I am aware of is the DTX Front end setup.

That is to say, you must swap the entire front end of the DTX over.

In a similar vein, I'm running an RS 125 front end setup.

      Using WR400F forks.

Also using RS 125 rear brake + wheel

Using Brembo pads WHICH STOP ON A DIME!!!

The rear carrier was heavily modified!

In other words, I can't be of much help to you as I completely re-engineered my DT to retrofit brakes from another bike.

The DTX Front brake setup can be retrofitted to the DTR with an adapter plate.

But I can't really comment on that as I've never done it personally.

      Hopefully that helps?

Later Re models run nissin rear brake callipers, that’s plug in and play but the brand name is the only difference you’ll see as they’re both single piston callipers that use identical pads.

Also for less effort and cost you could buy a front end of WR125X. 320mm disc, 17” sumo wheels and lots of brembo upgrades
