      i m getting confused looking at the wiring diagram one of the wires that goes to the bulb is blue what colour should the other wire be i know its either a brown or black but on the diagram the wires comimg out the plug are different colours

        Haynes manual has it down as brown.that’s 3DB1, 3RN1 - 3RN9
        Don’t know about later models...

          @SpookDog if I m.reading it right the wire colour changes when it comes out the other side of the plug

            @dan28 on my diagram for 99 model it's brown which is earth and blue which it looks like changes to light blue which goes on to the CDI.

              Brown is switched live though black is earth

                It changes from light blue to blue according to Haynes manual. Only change I can see. Don’t take the wire placements literally on the diagram. The wire colours don’t align to the plugs...

                Is there a problem with your neutral light or were you just wondering about the manual? Cause the manual (bless it’s cotton socks) is full of fekin mistakes if you look long and hard enough. I thought my bike was supposed to have a 26mm flatslide! 🙄 ...
