Funnily enough Calum, you are probably more qualified to be doing my job than I am aha! Currently an apprentice software developer working mainly with web based apps. Crap money at the mo, but I just don't spend it on anything else. When I move out, I'll probably have to sell the lot.. So best make the most of it!!

So I ordered the wheels from SMPro on eBay and paid an additional £15 for them to include and fit rim tape and rim locks, so all that was needed was for me to fit the tyres. The wheels and tyres arrived today..

@CYBER-NINJA Sadly not... Although we had a go on segways the other day and she enjoyed it! So maybe after a couple of years of convincing she might try out the Freeride
My girlfriends face drops every time I mention the bike, she's hated them even more since I broke my femur on my MZ a few years back, don't think I'll ever persuade her into them but I'll keep trying -
@CYBER-NINJA They squeeze the tyre beads against the rim. The idea being that it prevents the tyre from slipping on the rim from hard acceleration. If the tyre slips, it will likely take the inner tube with it and therefore rip the valve out of place, leaving you with a very flat tyre! I don't think I have seen a motocross bike without them installed. Although you only really need one on the rear wheel, I opted to stick one on the front as well for things like stoppies. Some people go as far as to have more than one on the rear, but I didn't feel it was really necessary. It's one of those things that is worth having, JUST IN CASE!
