Top speed with the current 13-46 sprockets is only 54. The stock 13-40 sprockets offer 64. Should see 75 with a good enough road setup though I reckon. Haven't ridden with anyone just yet but will do soon!

@dtluke Yeah it's definitely the gearing. Previous owner changed the 13-40 for 13-46 and he said it lost 10mph. I was hoping to stick on 15-38 or something similar but found out earlier a 15 tooth front is way too big 😢

@CYBER-NINJA it takes me about 7 seconds or so to get to 60 on the DT 😞

                Keep it real

Finally ordered a set of off road wheels for it yesterday. Had to shell out a very unfriendly price of £700 with tyres.. Madness! But you just can't get the Freeride series wheels in used condition yet. They are a very odd combination of hubs similar to the tiny KTM 85 bikes (20mm rear spindle), laced onto normal sized rims. Only SM Pro or genuine KTM parts are available. So I went for SM Pro Platinum orange hubs and nipples, with stainless spokes and black rims. Should look nice! 👍

@MIGHTYMA should look incredible considering the wheels cost more than my entire bike 😉

Funnily enough Calum, you are probably more qualified to be doing my job than I am aha! Currently an apprentice software developer working mainly with web based apps. Crap money at the mo, but I just don't spend it on anything else. When I move out, I'll probably have to sell the lot.. So best make the most of it!! 😂

So I ordered the wheels from SMPro on eBay and paid an additional £15 for them to include and fit rim tape and rim locks, so all that was needed was for me to fit the tyres. The wheels and tyres arrived today..
