I want some decent coolant in my dt after its rebuild today and have found some unopened motorcycle castrol coolant in my garage. But it says - ' do not use will magnesium alloy engines'. The DT isn't magnesium alloy is it?

I'm running tap water with glycol in my bikes. Should I go through the hassle and replace with "clean water"?

@irongamer727 well, tap water has minerals in it which will be deposited inside the coolant jackets as time goes. This can affect the cooling. Also iron parts may catch rust as well. You may have to flush your cooling system more frequently compared to using distilled water.
