Rpm drop when put into gear

So my bike idles around 2k a little fast but seems to suit my bike better but both of my 2 strokes when put into gear the rpms lower my 4 stroke doesn't do this is this normal?

Clutch drag, all engines will exhibit this to an extent. Put a car on axle stands and start the engine up, watch the wheels turn...

If it's excessive then the clutch needs adjusting.

@Calum my clutch works perfect so I think it's fine do you think it's more present in 2 strokes because the lack of torque?

As said all engines will drop as you will get some form of engine drag.

It could be worn clutch plates or work springs.

Idle at 2k is about right for a two stroke, the RPMs will drop, but not enough to cause it to stall.
