      So I purchased t one off eBay 1988 to 2007 put it on don't fit the inner cable is miles too big the lever pulls half way in before moving the clutch arm starts pulling that's on max adjustment I tell the seller he has measurements and says it's the right one so he offers me re fund or a smaller cable I take the smaller one stupidly made the small one fit despite it having the wrong end knuckle just go to ride it turn bars and rips the adjuster out of the lever the seller claims he's sold 500 of the first ones with no complaints how could this be? @Calum

        *Bought

        Buy genuine. I said this to you before hand. I've heard it all before but I've had nothing but issues with these cheap aftermarket ones.

                @declan Well it's probably not a genuine Yamaha one then.

                From memory the price of a genuine one isn't that much more yet the quality is vastly superior!

                If it's from eBay then it's not genuine.

                I've been here myself.

                    @declan Yeah, it's not genuine then.

                    Actually genuine is like triple the price:

                          @declan Don't always buy cheap.

                          I understand the necessity to do so because I have run 'eBay special'.., shitty clutch cables for 4 years.. They snap for me more often than not, always towards the lever perch.

                          I've gone through 5 cables in 9,000 miles.

                          +That seller is talking shite. What dimensions are those!?

                          There are better Aftermarket ones, but a Genuine will last.

                          Keep it real
