    There should be a brown wire that goes to the front brake light switch
    ( is this correct ? )
    I be tidy up my loom an don't seem to have the wire an more does this wire come off one of the other wires that go to warning lamps I can't see any were else to take the feed from

      What year is the bike mate.

      Thew newer models have revised wiring. I don't know if the colours are all the same.

            Brown wire is a switched feed from the ignition. You can take it from anywhere.
            See attached pic, I'm not sure what model code your bike is but all the DT diagrams I have, have the same wiring.

              Item 35 is the front brake switch, item 1 is the horn and 24 is the ignition switch.

                So I could run a wire from the brown that goes to oil warning light ?
                We're does the brown wire come from that runs to brake light switch
