    @Bodylad I’m running 220 main jet 27.5 pilot jet and standard needle position. This is with full dep system, v force reeds & re-bored to the limit of the standard cylinder. Runs very well. Probably a tad rich. Just waiting on my zeeltronic system to arrive next.

    If your experiencing revs not dropping like ‘normal’, I would say your pilot jet could be either blocking up or too small.

    Also I tried running airbox without the snorkel but couldn’t feel any benefits when adjusted. I find the standard airbox setup perfect.

    @autovictor no I bypassed the carb cooling after having a leak at one of the joints on the carb. No difference noticed. When I bought the bike the carb was in bad shape. Seized air screw, seized idle screw and looking very poor. All working now though thankfully as the tm28ss carb is a pricey one!

    @autovictor I had a day yesterday of going through my pilot jets and ended up at pilot 22.5 with air screw 1/2 turn out, also a 210 main jet and needle clip standard. Runs good now. I tried a 27.5 I believe and that was just too rich.

    Hey guys, just wondering what everyone’s carb jets setting are? And what modifications you have done? I’m finding my self heading towards a 30+ pilot jet and a 210 main jet with just a DEP pipe fitted. No air box mod. I realise everyone’s will be different, not asking to ‘copy’ anyone just interested really! Also have a zeeltronic on the way which hopefully with be fun, need to get my jetting correct first though struggling with the pilot side of things.

    I have a dt x by the way, 2006 model with the tm28ss.

    Check your pulse coil(on the generator) , make sure the resistance is in range. I had a no spark issue which turned out to be open circuit on the pulse coil.

    Also get a Haynes manual. The bike becomes so simple with a manual to hand.

    @NINJA sorry for the delayed reply, got my new piston and cylinder head on the way so just waiting to rebuild it all. Had a email back from zeeltronic €204 is the price. If everything goes well on rebuilding the top end I will be getting one! Thanks for the advice

    Struggling to attach a imagine of my bike, how do I do it? Haha.

    Thanks for the welcome, bought the bike a non runner, after a complete engine rebuild and no spark situation iv now done around 2000miles, piston ring somehow moved round and caught the opening of the exhaust port yesterday! All good fun though.

    And yes I think I might have to get one then, do you know if they come with a basic map on them or do you have to completely programme it? Thanks

    Hello my names frazer, new to this forum after having issues with my dt 125 x.
    Got my new cylinder/head and piston on the way as my current one broke a ring causing a lot of damage.

    Anyway just wondering if anyone here has had experience with the zeeltronic ignition/pv system? Iv read that they can massively increase perfoamce(depending on the person programming). Find it very interesting and tempting.

    Any and all opinions welcome! Thanks
