I used this on my dt 125 r 2002 on the oil reservoir to the pump and then from the pump to the reed block

@Bluestoesonnose I wouldn't buy Athena mate. I've had 2 gaskets go on my dt. 2 of which were the transmission clutch cover gasket which caused an oil leak and now my head gasket has just gone! which is now drinking all my coolant. Buy OEM!

drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it form getting worse perhaps?

@2Stroke4Smoke drill the bolts out? then use a nut and bolt combination or retap?

@declan no the whole aluminium bit snapped in half

@oldman golden brown, Seemed fine enough. Did replace the sparkplug when it happened and solved the problem for like 3 days however.

@calum Yeah. it's a bit on and off. was playing with the electrics disconnected the battery and the bike started-although sounded like a dying horse- then I reconnected it and seemed fine and then wouldn't start again when i turnt it off and tried to kick again. Then I cleaned up the battery terminals/contacts, Seems fine for now tho.

I recently had a topend rebuild done by me on my bike all seemed to be going well when i noticed the bike was having problems starting. The problem only seems to happen when the bike is cold, it does start after around 25 tries. i performed a compression test and the reading was around 125 psi which seems to be good. I did replace the sparkplug and the bike seemed to start within 3 kicks for a few days. but now the problem is back and worse.

So I measured the cylinder bore with a vernier calliper. (I know you need a bore gauge for accurate measuring) but i wanted a rough estimate to see if the previous owner oversized the bore so ik what piston kit size to order.
My measurements are from 55.63mm to 55.73mm but the std bore size for my year (2002 reg as a 2003) is 56mm should i order the 56mm kit or the 56.50mm kit and then have the cylinder bored to the piston size.

@calum the bike is 2003 reg but the frame number when searched is 2002 model

@calum Just curious besides a dep pipe and being derestricted my dt 125r 2002/2003 is pretty stock. would the difference be noticed?
