Theres a passage in the carb-bowl for the choke system, it could be plugged with crud.
People seem to miss this when they clean the carb. -
I'd check the spark plug first.
If you can get it fired up, but takes a long time, chances are it is the heat in the bote helping it fire up not the lack of fuel.
Take the plug out and test the spark.
Heat the plug up and refit it and kick her over, if it starts when the plug is hot but not cold then there is your answer.

I don't think so it's not getting hot or pressurising or anything
-
I'll give it a try I have a spare there that I know is good, thanks lads Much appreciated
-
Must of been a carb issue as I fitted a different carb after trying the coil and now it's fine hot or cold
-
@andrewj1680 How bizarre, sorry to have led you down the wrong path.
That's odd.
-
@calum not your fault mate it did kind of point that way it was like I had to get the plug warm before it would run right I did swap coil first after first trying it to make sure it wasn't gonna start then I changed coil and still wouldn't run changed the carb and after about 3 kicks it started fine and it rides no issues, tomorrow will tell me properly if the issue is sorted but it's looking like it is

@andrewj1680 I know it's common fouled plugs on crossers that simply once there is heat in the combustion chamber that it they start.
