As much as I love the style of the R over the RE, the RE seems more refined and the electric start is definitely handy!

        UPDATE:
I got the Yamaha DT RE and I'm loving it!! She does have some N.H.S tires though which I need to change any suggestions? I do like tires which appear to look thicker, I am open to suggestions!

@natnice I used to use Avon distanzias, but I run completely different wheels now so I couldn't offer any advice.

@natnice I had TrailRiders on my DTR, look look awesome and gripped superbly well - I'd highly recommend them!!! 😉

You can go slightly wider with 90/90/21 on the front and 120/80/18 on the rear with the stock rims. Which looks a lot beefier as well as improving road-holding and stability at speed too. 😜

                              SEDUCED BY THE DARK SIDE!!!

Michellin AC 10s if you want to do some proper technical stuff, if you just want dualsport tyres which are good both on and offroad I use some cheap vee rubber ones that came on my WR wheels during the summer, gripped well offroad in the dry ish mud and I hit some gnarly stuff, utterly useless in bogs or bad mud mind, as are all dualsports.
