Hi All!
I'm having a bit of an issue with my DT125RE 2005..
I've recently just had the head and cylinder skimmed and have just put everything back together.Bike starts fine, but the second I put the bike in to gear with the clutch in, it completely cuts out. This is in first and second, bike will also not bump in gear.
The previous owner has deactivated the bike stand switch and this has never been a problem whilst I've had the bike.
I've been reading elsewhere that this could be a clutch switch issue..
Has anybody else had this problem? If so, do you have any tips for tackling the issue?
Thanks in advance!

You can bridge out the side stand relay to see if that or something else in the circuit is faulty.

It'll be the side switch stand.
There should be no reason why it needs to be bypassed. I would put it back in the loop, either get a new one, or used off eBay.
Pretty sure all the clutch switch is used for is to cut the engine should the side stand switch be closed.
So it'll be the side stand switch.
