Does a rich pilot effect riding
-
You run it tuned? What carb?
-
The idlejet is always flowing, so although its small, it will provide fuel over the entire rev range, but it will mean less and less for overall performance as the rpms rise.
-
@irongamer727 17.5 phb if I recall it’s not genuine I took the geuniune off this one is naraku
-
@jens-eskildsen so maybe ill try the idle jet out of my stock carb
-
@irongamer727 just discovered my pilot is a 50 supposed to be a 38 factory must of fitted the wrong jet it’s not a stock bike it’s got a fresh 70cc kit
-
@irongamer727 I can tell it’s running rich struggles to rev cleanly mainly from no revs to about quarter it splioges oil out the rail pipe and develops a littl splutter when coming off the gas and also struggles for Lower down power
-
@irongamer727 well the description of the carb says 38 pilot but it has a 50 in mine so I’ll just get a 38 like it should have and it should be good thank you for your time mate
-
@declan so it turns out the pilot was a38 I was looking at the wrong jet lol so I put the one out of the stock carb which iirc is a 32 and it only runs slightly better to get the power right I have to properly lean the af screw out but if I leave it ticking over it needs the smoke clearing out before it can ride even if I leave it for say 30 seconds I’m starting to wonder if I over mixed my 2 stroke oil
-
@irongamer727 I guess so I think I need to find someone that knows jetting tbf to get it spot on
-
@irongamer727 I’m afraid your not gonna like this it’s a 50 pound kit off eBay made in Poland
-
@irongamer727 I put. A really old rusty plug in it’s yhe only one I had the bike starts first kick if I turn the af screw all the way in the bike dies as it should right?
-
@irongamer727 I’ve cleaned it out properly and yes clean plug will be got and fresh fuel tonight so I know I didn’t screw up the premix
