        Got it! This then. It seems the plates don't like being mounted in the middle? It's not possible to do it as in the Haynes!

          one of your clutch plates should be narrower than the others.fit this plate and ring second

            I always remove all the plates in one stash, then theres no way to get it wrong when you install new ones.

              @jens-eskildsen Yeah, you know, unless the previous owner didn't assemble it correctly.

              I would rather reassemble it everytime by the book, then I know it's setup.

              Depends on how competent you are I guess.
