Weird problem after oil change

Without that, the spring won't torque down properly.

I can't say what real world difference that will actually make, but it might be enough to cause a problem.

Yup, i'm getting a new pressure plate obviously. I took the bucket of, and the axle is moving a little bit, it shouldn't move right?

@calum i am starting to suspect the balancing shaft more and more... how do i go on to check it, and time it properly?

@bananper Whip the clutch cover off, whip the clutch basket off.

Rotate the crank shafter around. The two dots on the primary shaft cog and the balancer shaft cog should meet. If they don't then the timing is out.

It does destroy bearings, but you should get away with just sorting it.

If it's not that, then it's either a rough engine, clutch imbalance or lose/worn engine mounts.

@calum alright, so if it's not alligned, do i need to split the case? Sorry i'm really inexperienced with these type of engines

Cool that looks good then. Now you just need to make sure the clutch is balanced properly.

No you don't need to split the cases. You just set the piston to TDC.

@calum maybe a stupid question but how do i balance the clutch, do i need anything special to do it?

@bananper please try tightening your engine mounts my mate had a cr85 the engine was solid but it was actually loose
