Husqvarna TE300i without a doubt, but too heavy and too much power where I ride, so would go for a 250.

@Minia It would be a very tough choice between the fuel injected KTM's/Huskys and a carbureted bike? I like it that the TM bikes are hand made and also offer something a bit different to the mainstream bikes out there. Plus you could also put a Lectron carb on it for further improvements in power, handling and rideability. Those TPI models are hard to beat though. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@NINJA Aye. Got my eyes on a wr250 though. One popped up closeby for a good price and would be a great base for a project. Im in France by the end of the week so... just maybe. But GasGas will have to go, no room for 2 offroaders.

@Nottsbiker Not for old bikes, GasGas sold their factory and spare parts in the mid 2000s. I think around 2005-06 or so, so finding parts for older bikes is a pain. The EC is ok, because it was a popular bike. But other models like my Pampera, no hope really unless you come across someone breaking the bike or who somehow has original parts from GasGas.

Sure, you can make any bike look sweet if you know how to ride it.

@NINJA There's some irony in that video. "It runs great, most people don't tune their 2-strokes" and 2 minutes later "This bike runs as good as any 2-stroke I've ever seen." "Low-end torque is not great, possibly because it runs a little lean." Eh? Wording is a little poor in that review.

Goes to France to work on the house, buys a bike instead

Well, I found the one I was looking at earlier and got my hands on it. What a machine!
