Because of the virus and therefore an unlimited amount of free time I decided to renovate my good old DTR. This was the state of 2012 after a fresh paint job:
Because I was too cheap, I did not powder-coat the swing arm and the frame at the age of 16, so I decided to do it right this time. It was also a good reason to tidy up the garage:
The dissasembly worked fine except for one cunt screw at the lower forkleg which needed some extra attention. I really hope I am able put the fork together in the right order
Luckily I am able to sandblast at a friends building company. Next thing is to get the powder-coating in RAL 7016 (suggestion of the company).
Any thoughts of the coulour RAL7016? Fork, swing arm and, frame and some smaller parts will get this colour. Tank and plastics will stay in the colour they are (but still need some fresh paint). To remove the colour from the fork i will use paint remover since I am to careful with the fragile aluminium.

In the mean time I also decoupled the flashing indicator with some diodes (cheapest 1A I found in an electric shop) in a 10 pack as usual. This is necessary for LED indicators because otherwise all 4 of them will flash simultaneously. Got a cheap pack of chase lights indicators similar to the ones Audi or VW use (20 bucks).
When I am finished I will post a summary containing all prices and links.
As new ground I just used the ground of the high beam indicator. Works fine so far:

Because of the powder-coating I will need new bearings and sealings for the swing arm and the connection metal piece thing (Nr. 13 in the picture: https://www.bike-parts-yam.de/yamaha-motorrad/125-MOTO/1997/DTR/DT125R/SCHWINGE/7_747-747/B21/0/1601). Any idea where I can get them cheap? Yamaha original is 43€ a piece..

@declan An aftermarket set of koyo crank shaft bearings (set of 2) costs around 50€. Therefore 43€ for a single bearing without any sealing (it needs 4) seems pretty expensive to me.

I got all mine from Simply Bearings. Might have been £50 all in. I really can't remember. But they're as good as OEM.

Wemoto to a partial kit and Fowlers have the rest - pricey though and will probably cost a pretty penny to do the whole lot

@Calum Thanks a lot! Yeah I heard of that mighty "search" function, should use it more often.
@Nottsbiker Wemoto is nice but lacks some parts, Fowlers is like buying at the local Yamaha dealer
Only shipping to Germany seems to be an issue. There is a great supply in UK, and almost no supply on the continent. Found a kit for the swing arm:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/ALL-BALLS-SWINGARM-BEARING-KIT-FITS-YAMAHA-DT125-1999-2006/274158085725
But for the linkage the only kit I found is the one you posted:
Do you maybe know another seller which does ship to Germany? I already emailed him and asked for it.

If you literally go to
You can type the sizes of the bearings into their search engine and buy it from them.
