@spookdog Ptsch, clutch is only needed when pulling away and stopping. Everywhere else just clutchless shift.

Can’t treat someone else’s bike that way, let alone my own...

Someone must’ve had a good experience with after market levers. They can’t all be bling, surely?...

I can’t find any definitive info on decent levers. Can anyone please recommend a set of decent, preferably adjustable levers?
I’ve gotten to the age where if I ride over 40 miles I start to get cramps in my left hand. I didn’t take this into account when I fitted an updated clutch 🙄 and I point blank refuse to admit I’m getting older, longer ‘reach’ adjustable levers would definitely help me out...
      Cheers!...

@spookdog what you looking for geezer?
There’s some nice ones on Aliexpress/eBay if you don’t mind the generic looking CNC uprated lever you see on every bike.

You could also use standard levers and just move your brake and clutch perch inwards towards one another thus creating more leverage because you grab the outermost part of your lever.
I always thought this was common knowledge but a couple convo’s lead me to realise not many people do this.

There’s the expensive option of ASV levers or using DT125re levers as they’re a bit shorter and more modern looking.

        @spookdog The search box on here is really useful dude;

        https://dt125r.co.uk/topic/752/levers-that-fit-1990-dtr?_=1615835455824

I think I may have a new set of the later DTRE levers, which are a nicer dog-leg design over the old style DTR units. Straight swap for the old levers, I'll have a look in my garage if your interested???

I tried, I just got a load of helios & leviathon project stuff🤨 me & the search engine don’t get on...

You wouldn’t want my levers bud and I wouldn’t inflict them on you! I need some long adjustable ones. The best I’ve seen are SKU ones on fleabay for about £45. I’m just getting too wary about internet purchases. Been burnt too often 🙄 ...

Sorry bud! I thought you wanted to swap them for my old levers! (Doh!)
They’re a massive improvement over mine. What do you want for them? I’ve managed to snap my clutch lever trying to heat and bend it back a bit. It wasn’t the right one so it ‘threw out’ way too far, making me overreach. I need one lickedy spit and all the local shops are useless. Thursday or Friday to get one in @ the earliest...

I replace mine for the same reason with a China made one from Adelin, and since my master brake cylinder kept leaking, I replaced it with a radial master cylinder from the same brand to have a matching set of levers.

Could be found on ebay aswell for higher prices but faster shipping.

@crosserke It's pretty amazing the stuff they're knocking out, for not a lot of money.

@spookdog Why would I want to swap?

That’s exactly what I thought! 😜 I blame it on the ambiguity of text. Cheers for the offer but I’m gonna pull the trigger on the Sku’s. I really do need the adjustability to get my clutch into the sweet spot without my fingers falling off. Getting older sucks...
