I've wired a new tail light up and just installed a new rear brake light switch and it doesn't get brighter at all when the switch is activated is it possible I've wired the tail light up wrong?

LED's don't work with the standard set-up, I stuck with regular bulbs in the end as I could not suss it all out. There is a thread with someone finding a solution to this problem on here somewhere???

I run surface mounted diodes for my rear light no problems.
There is no circuitry involved with the rear lights, it's simply a switch hooked up to the 12v rail on the bike. So test for conitunity between these two lines and you should be able to figure it out.
