    @vtrn_raptor Yes mate, It's a NORMALLY OPEN circuit.

    So disconnecting it won't fix the issue, as it's NORMALLY open.

    You have to close the circuit to fix the issue. So short out the circuit which will force it into NORMALLY CLOSED state.

    As said, if you do that and it's still not sparking then it's not the side stand switch.

    Start off simple and we can work our way up.

        @vtrn_raptor Just complete the circuit, have you a haynes manual handy as it would make a lot more sense.

        Think of it as a light switch in your room.

        If the light switch goes faulty then you won't be able to turn the light on, no matter what state the switch is in, to rectify the issue you would bypass the switch.

        So whereever the wires go you will want to short out the circuit, a paperclip would do the trick.

              @vtrn_raptor Sorry I'm confused?

              Did you short the side stand switch out?

                          Have you checked the wiring loom around the headstock? Could be a wire rubbed through or broken
