Recommended reeds?

@Calum well I'm hooked on my dt I was not expecting it to have that much power and speed but not only that but how smooth the gearbox is and how comfy the bike is I love it already.
-
@Mightyman Aprilia box is hella notchy lmao.
DT is like a rifle action by comparison.

Thought I would write an update from my previous post ^
It seems as though the 40km that was dropped from my tank must have been something of a 'bedding in' stage for these carbon fibre reeds, as I am getting normal fuel consumption again after cycling through another 5 - 10 tanks.
-
@Calum sorry lads quick side questing connected my autolube up and ran the bike but no oil coming out do I need to bleed it or what?
@declan yes you need to bleed the autolube mate. When Im rebuilt my engine , I ran on few litres of premix to bleed my pump. There is a rubber blind pipe with small clamp on . Let the bike idling and manually twist the pump pull-wheel with the small pipe off , I have transparent pipes so Im seen when it start coming to the inlet. Might not be best method but worked for me ...

@Zrako appreciate it I did the same as you only with no bleed valve I'll give it a go thank you.
-
@declan Once it's bled through that blind system then put the nipple back on and just ride the bike.
Obviously run the bike with premix initially to just ensure you have oil in the engine.

@declan Lol. V Force Reeds.
It's more the V Force Reed block that you should be concerned with, and no you cannot.
Shouldn't worry though it's not going to drastically change performance. So long as you have some carbon reeds or plastic then that'll suffice.

@declan No? I was just saying I am pretty sure it's the cage you want not the reeds as I think the stock ang or carbonreeds are about as good as you can get. So don't waste your money.
-
@Calum I'm kidding, I'm new to 2 stroke so I thought v force also did reeds but I've salvaged mine if flipped them and Gonma repair the inlet rubber and need to clean the carb after that hopefully she goes good
-
@Calum so the reed flip gave me tones more compression carb cleaned intake boot repaired but I've still got the little bog/ stutter from idle would you say the idle jet needs increasing?
