      @declan so as it stands inside the drive you have a circle with 3 tabs on it that rotates free the little cog right at the back doesn't move I'm guess the thing with the tabs rotates off the wheel and is supposed to drive the cog which rotates the worm gear?

        The worm gear was seized now moving I can make the drive work by rotating the cable but not by the the tab that's suppposed to drive it any ideas @Calum

          @declan Nah mate. Never had any problems with the drive myself. Then switched out to the electronic pickup.

          Can't help you here.

            The 3 tabs can be bent inwards, then it wont engage.

            Remove the circlip/lockring, take the washer with the tabs out, and bend them back so they're straight.

                @jens-eskildsen the thing with the tabs was not installed right it was not seated I've put it back on and it works! Seems a bit jittery watching the needle but it reads the speed not ride it yet though

                  I had this problem the tabs were worn on the wheel, i started cheapest option first being the cable and lastly changed the wheel which sorted it

                    @andrewj1680 hopefully mine is okay now but if it starts again I need to add another washer in there to keep it seated
