@scrimsmustang She looks gorgeous, just my style. How much do these go for these days?
@andrewj1680 Fantastic looking bike.
-
Looks like she's staying awhile longer not that it matters to me either way really tbh I'd rather sit it in the shed than let it go for peanuts

Anyone like old aircooled DT,s ? I have this French Blue 79 DT125MX completely original and unrestored, its literally as new time warp condition with 6000 miles on the clock. Never messed with at all ever, I want to sell it and I dont want to sell it but if anyone might be interested let me know. I dont seem to be able to use the for sale section but Calum will vouch for me im sure.
Ok, I have to ask, how much are you looking for? Decided I am going to get rid of my big bike and get another vintage(ish) bike. Anyone want a 2013 vstrom 650?

@oldman yes mate was my 1 I'm not letting it go for that money, I'll keep it til the summer again now as they seem to go up in money, they are good bikes
Some projects are fetching upto a grand, I wouldnt let it go either for that. I wasnt happy with 2100 for my Black one last week, its whos looking at the time I suppose.
-
The DT125MX would be at least 2500 OVNO ! But as you can see it would pass for a month old let alone 38 years old.
-
@scrimsmustang I gave £2200 for it so don't plan to give it away, the way I see it is it's money I can't spend, weather doesn't help as it's hardly bike weather is it tbf. My plans are now to finish what someone started I'll put it back totally standard with the rear rack and everything, few bits on it that I feel could be better
-
See you have listed again, I am one of the watchers, call me an interested party! Not the best time to sell really but being what it is you just need the right person to come along who knows their dt's. Should fetch good money but ebay can be a frustrating place, get really peeved with the chancers and dreamers sending stupid unrealistic offers and asking stupid questions. Good luck with the sale anyway, maybe the new owner will join us on here.

@oldman I'm just gonna let it run it's course whatever it goes for it's going I need to make room for another crosser i have bought a yz250 which I've had to put in a friends garage for the time being. I'm hoping to go back to just having the one dt I'm currently rebuilding
-
@andrewj1680 I'm wanting a yz more and more be sure to keep me updated about it
-
@andrewj1680 very nice and yeah the cr is a bit much for anyone a lot of peapole are quicker on track on the 125 over the 250 guessing since you can pin it every where and not worry about wrecking so much and can I suggest modernising the plastics?

-
@andrewj1680 that's true there's a point where you have to beat the shit out of a bike to truly use all of the bike And properly enjoy it

Sorry mate been away for a few weeks as you know, Route66 are picking her up Monday morning. Have fun she is suprisingly nippy for an old girl, oh and take care of her I know you will !

Looking forward to it, my days of racing about are over so happy to plod along the back lanes and countryside , the Meon Valley area is close to me, access to lots of decent rural roads from there away from the speeding cars, the 88dt is a blast to ride and no doubt the mx will be as well, will be a keeper!

Also have to say how lucky I was as a kid to have 2 strokes to ride, remember being on the back of a Stan Stephens tuned 350lc in Paington Devon on a boys holiday, my "pilot" usually road a dr600 and kept grabbing a big handful of throttle popping wheelies everywhere, under a rail bridge with a bus coming the other way sticks in my mind, Ha
