Going to make a start on F403 MJM an 88 Endurance Blue DTR, Ive had it in boxes for over a year now after buying it as a none runner from ebay. Finally got everything for it now. The final piece the headlamp cowl turned up the other week from CMS dont know where they got it from as I check now and again then 1 in stock, the engine is all done and ive blasted the frame etc the other day. Got no pictures yet just the new plastics most ive had since before I got the bike so ile stick them up for now, all genuine decals also.

You obviously have a real passion for restoring bikes, which clearly shows in the detailing and quality of your workmanship - Kudos to ya. Do you do this as a hobby or as a means to make some extra cash or perhaps maybe a little bit of both???

Both I suppose, I stopped doing it for a while and im stopping again when what I have is finished the last 2 I have done has decided that. Its hard to make money restoring a DTR when average to poor bikes sell for 4 or 500 quid less than a fully restored bike sells for these days.

@scrimsmustang Last enduro I bought new, KTM250XC 2011 model, rode it 4 times and then took ill early 2012 and had heart bypass in 2013. Took till 2014 to get over it properly. Never used it since its sat in the garage under a sheet I should have sold it back when it was still new. I really miss the moors and off road riding.
