@ricky0115 so the carb stops the arm from returning to the original position? That would cause the issue but no idea how the carb could be in the way

@declan confirmed carb is not in the way, actuator arm seats as it hits the carb

So the clutch actuator arm sits on a little holder that fixes perpendicular to the base of the cylinder, far far away from the carb.

Can you get a photo up.

If the clutch is fully disengaged, and there is no power to the wheel, then the clutch isn't being disengaged properly. Which means either adjusting the clutch perch, actuator or yes taking the clutch cover off and adjusting the clutch dowel.

0_1508864020207_D85EA10B-7DD3-4D96-86C9-A7E3C4A7DCB0.jpeg my carb is very close to where the clutch cable hooks in, I do remember though when installing new clutch plates there was a wavy ring between the 1st friction plate and 2nd clutch plate, should I have removed this?

@ricky0115 Nah that looks good to me.

Yes, the clutch plates must go back in a specific order.

I describe the order in the kick start tutorial.
