Hey can anyone recommend where to find the right bearing for my bottom end i have 88 bottom end and have bought 6305 sized bearings . then realise i have got the wrong ones and discovered i needed 6305R1 and since not been able to source them i have looked and found one set only but i am unsure if i should get them as it does not state they are c3 rated as the previous pair were .

    any help greatly appreciated

Simply bearings, yeah the DT uses an odd sized bearing. They're expensive as well! IIRC they're overrated bearings meant to handle more power, hence their reliability.

If you're uncertain, then grab them from PJME. Those guys know their shit and will sort you out.

i know this is old but did you find the right bearing number as think they might be this 6305r1sh29tcs35 but only got this nuumber from listing on ebay and maybe sombody that has changed them can say if they the right ones if so will work out a lot cheaper if they the right ones but they are the one pictured

Should be about £50 a set. They're an odd size and very expensive. PJME has them.

If they're cheap, then they're probably the wrong bearings.

looking on the this website http://www.athenaparts.com/eng/models/view/4453-section-25/yamaha-dt-125-r-re-x it looks like they may be the size with out measuring a set of bearings it hard to say but if they are the right ones will save people some money or maybe i will order two and see if they will measure up to the spare engine i have in shed as did not keep the olds

so might be worth ordering a set to see if they match up but looks promising

I believe there expensive due to being a oddball size, something .5mm wide I think.

@DTR-NSR yes they are narrower. Found out the hard way years ago when I couldn't get my cases back together......
