Hi guys and girls.
I'm Joe, I have recently been spending a lot of my free time rebuilding a Dtr I purchased in need of a lot of tlc. More to follow in another thread..
I'm new to the whole bike scene but as I near completion I found this site recently and wanted to become a member.. Better late than never..

Where do I start.. I am restoring it to its former glory but who knows where it may lead.
I bought the old girl in a right old state as a "project". It was basically a frame with wheels and an engine in pieces.. Not everything was there but if it was it was in bad shape. On the upside the frame number and engine number matched the v5 so it was something

I was just going to start my build thread but turns out my laptop with my build progression on won't turn on..
I've tried the usual.. more coal, bigger hammer but with no success.. I hope it's repairable!
All I have at the moment is a few pics and start up video on my phone
