Pretty new to bikes

Hello I’m kyle from Norfolk,
Done my cbt couple months ago cus wanted to have ago at some lanes, really enjoying green laneing and pottering to work and back,
Still thinking whether I’m happy to just stay on cbt or go for full..
But anyways I have a 06 dt125re!

Definitely worth doing your license. Even if you go for a restricted license, now that you have your CBT, you could do your 125 license for around £120.
The benefit of doing that is, you use your your bike. You rock up and do it in 2 45 minute slots, plus the 30 minute theory, and you will never need to redo your CBT.
Should you want to get the full license, you just need to do MOD 1 & 2 on a bigger bike.
It's cheaper than doing direct access, you might find you don't actually enjoy riding so you haven't spent the earth.
I think it's worth doing if you plan on keeping the 125 for a while, saves costs of renewing the CBT,.

@Glynn123 Why do the A1? It's useless, do a CBT for £70 and ride on a 125 for 2 years then do your A2? A1 is just a question of money, it is a CBT that does not expire. THATS IT. It's pathetic, £800 for a CBT that doesn't expire? Fuck me man... I hope you meant A2.

@Calum I know Calum, but as much as us old fellas like to remember the past it doesn't help the new riders doing their license today. The A1 today is useless, it is the government as usual, bullying motorcyclists. In the same sense that bikers pay the london congestion charge which is argued because they produce CO2 and Carbon Monoxide, fair enough. Except motorcyclists factor in for less than 1% of traffic pollution in london! It's a fucking scam! Sorry if I'm going on a rant here and it sounds like a recruitment speech for a revolution, guess it's my french side.

@Minia I wouldn't say it's pointless. Having done my license, I never got a bigger bike. Still on a 125. Sure I could go get one, but I didn't. So say if my license didn't automatically upgrade, I've not had to pay for CBT every two years.
At the end of the day, the governments hand was forced when so many kids killed themselves on powerful motors.

@kyle-rhys Saw this at 'two wheel tuesday' a few weeks back parked next to an old husky supermoto, replace those worn out nobblies if you want to use it for green laning, it'll be all over the place!
