      hi im going to be rebuilding a engine and wanted to know whats best for seals as im ordering the bearings from simplybearings i noticed they do oil seals as well or is it just best to go with the athana seal kit for the extra money whats peoples thoughts and experiances

        @britshgigolo Athena seals and gaskets are well known to be about the best you can get. As with everything in life you only get what you pay for and quality does not come cheap. However the seals from Simply bearings may be just as good, you would need to compare them side by side really though.

          cheers mate did think best to go with the athana kits but then thought i would ask peoples thoughts first to be clear

            Go for Koyo SKF FAG bearings from Simply bearings, Gaskets and Oil Seals from PJME

              #calum i cant remember what ones you told me to get last time was it the c3 or non c3 when it came to bearings sorry to be a pain lol

                @britshgigolo make sure that you get the right width bearings as the original are narrower than the typical ones for the DT's diameter 🙂
