2003 Yamaha Dt125R Project
Aww this will be a sweet project to get stuck into.
Make sure you soak every nut and bolt in penetration fluid before commencing!
I look forward to seeing what you do with this.
Cheers mate i will do, most of them are stainless steel so there not to bad, im more worried about the swingarm bolt as it has a thing about getting sizred inside the steel spacer inside the engine casing, last time i had to wack it with a sledge hammer to get it out but it broke the threads, atho now i own a Die so should be able to re-thread it if needs be
Like a project when there all rusted up adds a nice challenge to it
@mhbikesnbits Aye i know what you mean it never used tobe like that, it was my pride and joy, il get her sorted, need help finding some USD forks that will fit both dirt wheel and supermoto wheel tho
@Walney-Reptiles I run WR forks on my DTR. Used to have knobblies on them, now they have SM wheels.
@Calum Cheers buddy, still saving up for a new topend before i begin the strip down, im going to rebuild the engine first then sort the rest of the bike out
