    Aww this will be a sweet project to get stuck into.

    Make sure you soak every nut and bolt in penetration fluid before commencing!

    I look forward to seeing what you do with this.

    Cheers mate i will do, most of them are stainless steel so there not to bad, im more worried about the swingarm bolt as it has a thing about getting sizred inside the steel spacer inside the engine casing, last time i had to wack it with a sledge hammer to get it out but it broke the threads, atho now i own a Die so should be able to re-thread it if needs be

        @mhbikesnbits Aye i know what you mean it never used tobe like that, it was my pride and joy, il get her sorted, need help finding some USD forks that will fit both dirt wheel and supermoto wheel tho

          @Walney-Reptiles I run WR forks on my DTR. Used to have knobblies on them, now they have SM wheels.

            @Calum Cheers buddy, still saving up for a new topend before i begin the strip down, im going to rebuild the engine first then sort the rest of the bike out πŸ˜„

              Well i decided to start the strip down today, gives me somthink todo while i save up.

              also i got some bolts to help me with the rebuild M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 i also have some M10 and M12

              Heres some photos from today
              i started to strip her down and these photos are taken after a go-over with the pressure washer, i will get some more photos tomorrow when i begin round 2 of the strip down.

                  An update for the DTR project...

                  Today i am happy to say i have ordered the new top end last night, this is the one i have ordered.(Has anyone used this kit before?)

                          Update So i have started to rebuild my Yamaha DTR 125 Engine today

                          New Bearings Fitted Replaced all of them!
                          New Athena Oil Seals Fitted!
                          New Stainless steel allan bolts!
                          Gear Box Back in one piece πŸ˜„

                          Tomorrow i will be doing the Clutch and Balance shaft and all the gears that connect the Balance shaft and crank shaft together. i will also be putting my new athena barrel on then when the missing spacer washers arrive il put the head on.

                                        Cheers guys! Its been a long time coming, most of the time it took me to rebuild it was waiting for parts from MSP but least i know the engine is 100% good to go, just need to get the rest of the bike going now.
