Markus, I also brought a french Import with the 3rm-30. I searched everywhere for info about it and there was hardly anything! I did find something in french which I translated, which basically said it’s Very rare but probably the best CDI available so I’d stick with it. I’ve just done the yvps and put a dep on mine. I’m About to finally get mine on the road so hopefully it’s all good!

@markus-w yep compared to the first time I took it out when it was completely stock, it’s a different bike completely now. Plenty fast enough for me and more than enough power in the power band. Have you moved the reed switch out Of the rev gauge?

@DTlee my clocks were off the bike when I bought it and I'm now in the process of connecting them back up, bit of a headache as the wires were cut and left in a bit of a mess but I'm certainly going to look at the reed switch when I get to it. I understood that it shouldn't be removed completely or it will affect running so yes I'm going to have to look into that. Thanks Lee.

@markus-w just move the reeds switch from the Rev gauges and tape it up about 6” away from the Rev gauge. Don’t cut it out. Took me 15 mins to do And makes a great difference. Because it used to rev up to about 7500-8000rpm and stop. Now it will happily rev to 11000rpm
