Stripped and replaced the clutch side main oil seal. It looked fine, but on removal there was gear oil on the bottom of the main bearing. Brown, not red...
Bike definitely feels different as well. The tick over has altered so Iโm gonna have to tweak the airscrew, which I donโt think Iโm very good at
The revs seem to pick up much โcleanerโ as well...

Also my progressive springs have finally arrived and been posted! I really want a second hand set of forks to use either for the upgrade, or to use while the others are stripped for powder coating, ect...

The problem I was worried about was once you start increasing the vehicles power you may run into clutch troubles. But total overkill for stock systems.

My thinking was that an unrestricted motor might need uprated springs, but it seems absolutely fine with standard springs...The HyperPro springs actually look like a top knotch product. I was a bit dubious at first, like I am with any fleabay listing, but they come with copious instructions, fork oil & fork grease for the bottom of the stantions that sit in the lower legs. Plus they are properly well packaged...
Made inHolland for 89 ~ 06 model Dtr/eโs, which was one of my worries

Still waiting for Henrique Romeu to post my exhaust as well...
Waiting for some money to buy a new front tyre (Kenda 90-90 21in) to match the new rear 4.00 18 I already have brought...My mongrel bike is still running really well at the moment, no head gasket issues
๐คช as soon as I get financially viable Iโm gonna get a PJME rebore and maybe an oring conversion to the barrel. I am also going to rebuild another bottom end with new bearings all through. I have genuine crank seals, and am gonna get all koyo bearings with the best quality oil seals I can get for the rest of the bottom end. Iโve sourced another good condition crank (that I may get rebuilt with bearings and con rod if money willing)...
Swing arm and linkage bearings are all holding up since I replaced them 2 years ago, but I do want to replace them with koyo bearings and quality (if genuine seals canโt be found) seals because I got them from fleabay when I did the overhaul when I first got my basket case ๐ฅด
I will get my shit together eventually -

Best of luck! Iโm looking forward to hearing a detailed explanation of how that Romeu pipe performs, Iโve been tempted myself and heโll also do you a custom pipe specโd for a WR200 with DTR mounts.
Also those kenda tyres are based of an old Dunlop design that wouldโve originally come on some model DTRโs. They are highly regarded and going to be my next purchase for my other bike. Iโve not seen a better road / trail tire yet. Only a few contenders like the pirelli mt21โs or Dunlop d952โs

I put Pirelli MT something (24?!) โrally crossโ tyres originally on my bike. They were total shite in my opinion! I donโt say that lightly, they were really uncomfortable on the road. It was like riding a pneumatic road drill ๐คจ I had absolutely no confidence cornering with them on road. In fairness I think they were truly 50~50 orientated, so were to specific for my use. Also the rubber was a lot harder than the Kenda tyres Iโve gone through...

Anything on eBay cheap n cheerful, IMO. That goes for the speedo cable as well, As long as you oil them they should last as long as ye brake pads. -

@SpookDog a lot of sellers only accept bids off buyers with good feedback. If you message him first he may sort it for you.

I messaged him before, heโs not sure why Iโm on the banned list, but is gonna look into it. I donโt have any clue as to what I might of done to deserve โbanishmentโ...
PS 4430 miles with no head gasket problem

Iโve never sold anything. Never thought about it before either. I had to go and look at my profile to find it. You press on your name banner at the top of โmy eBayโ to find it...Mine was 205 not a few hunnies...
PS edit. I remember seeing those kinda things about feedback, but not for a real long time...

Also regarding eBay, you still receive feedback every time you buy something (or at least, sellers are able to give you feedback). Not sure why matey won't allow you to buy his forks though, unless they're listed as collection only?
