also took another set of dtr forks apart and added another half tube ontop of the stock dtx tube to make the rebound better and make stiffer made a massive difference
cut it in half. struggled to get the cap on but was worth it
also used plasi dip but didnt last 2 seconds in blue
also bought mild steel upper exhaust fitted to dep stubby rear
just looking for a new carb as my stock 28mm one has the air screw rounded off
found a tmx 30mm for 150 pound same as stock but size up so cable all fits
@aidan1996 Nice bike mate you've made some job of that looks tidy
Love a thread with lots of pictures!

@aidan1996 Sweet looking ride there bud!!! :O)
That is really smart. Colours work well!
@Calum thanks just indeed of carb advice
i see you have the tdr carb is it a 32mm or 30mm?? mine broken so air screw dead wont move
found a stock dtx carb been rebuilt looks new 150 pound on ebay :S
or a tmx 30mm for 150 from usa
@aidan1996 bought the TZR Belgarda 4DL carb VHSA. I wouldn't pay 150 for a tmx 28 personally
@Calum yeah i saw you bought that thought they were rare and hard to find??? or did you just buy it of a usa website and dremel inlet be just like 4dl then lol
THey aren't rare but they ain't common. I bought two at the time. And no Malossi do a 28 32 mm reducerT
It isn't rare, just isn't common. I only paid £60 for one carb. £90 for a blue printed carb.
A DT and a defender, a man with taste, not sure about the painted wheel rims though.

I like the white frame, looks sick. I've trialled a Mikuni TM32 on Pod Air-filter and it's quicker for sure, but still a compromise.
I'm running the stock TM28ss with a just lean 370 main jet, 37.5 pilot ,opened Airbox and it's almost as good, with better low end torque
new trail tech and white spoke covers and blue engine bolts lol
Looks brilliant mate! Where did you get that headlight from if you don't mind me asking? Looking for something similar for my bike but can only find it in white
wouldnt fit with stock speedo tho, so would need none speedo or trail tech
the straps aint best so put zip tie on it both side to help
@aidan1996 Thanks mate!
@aidan1996 JUst make it fit. But a numberboard would look odd stuck out 10cm lol
Absolutely love that headlight, fitted one to my DR-Z a few year back. It's probably the closest thing to an MX board you can get, whilst still having lights fitted.
