Twin rads
-
Is there any point in putting a second rad will it cool the bike anymore as I do have one that fits perfectly in place of the 2t tank taken just don't want to tack brackets on and cut pipe if no point im hoping it should do the trick tho...
-
@rogering It will make a difference, purely in maintaining engine temperature for longer. Having a second rad cools more water for the cycle, but only when there is sufficient air flow.
For off-roading, I didn't notice gains.
Also, being a smaller combustion 125cc, it actually gets air cooled considerably.
I only did it because I could...

Ah sweet do you think having a pressure cap on both rads would be a problem shouldn't I'd expect
-
I run DT230 Lanza rads. Straight swap, didn't really notice any benefit.

I'm just gonna do the upgrade coz I can and I think if I'm doing 25+ miles either way off-road the extra cooling should benefit me then, I have a rad off some sort of a rieju I had in the deal I took the dtr 2t tank of and the rads identical sizes with the tubes in the perfect position ready to cut the pipe but not before I tak the washers for the 2 brackets
The main question I'm asking you knowlageable guys is... would it matter if both rads had pressure caps ?? Or do I really need to rehab it to remove it IDK ????? -
I don't think 2 caps would have a problem
-
I personally don't think it's worth the extra weight but two caps wouldn't cause an issue.

I do have a genuine Dt200r r/h radiator if anyone wants it
-
What you want for it ?

Need to double check the condition but maybe £20
