So my bike had no exhaust gasket I rebuilt it and forgot to put the now one on I'll be doing that soon but I just read that it makes the bike lean and causes erratic revs is This the cause of my running problems?

If the problem still persists after you have fitted the gasket, then it's something else causing the running problem. I would refit the gasket ASAP and go from there before you do any more tinkering. Yamaha spent a lot of time and money designing the bike, having a piece of the puzzle missing may be why you are having problems???

I can't remember on the DTR's but there RE bolts twice, once at the front and another under the tank.
However they both didn't work so I just bolted it by the exhaust flange and then by the end can.
Seeing how the DEP is SOOO much lighter it was good enough.

wrote on 18 May 2017, 19:00 last edited by@andrewj1680 Yep nice and shiny, the rear silencer is defo a DEP, which is what threw me. There aren't too many performance pipes for DT's around these days, so it's either a DEP, Big One, Giannelli or perhaps an Arrow? My money would be on the Big One tho.

So from what I hear, the Big One Spannys weren't the best.
But no that isn't a DEP pipe.
I was very pleased with my DEP pipe, great performance and sounded sweet.

wrote on 18 May 2017, 19:06 last edited by@Calum I can't complain with mine mate sounds great and the bike performs better than it did with the standard pipe I kind of wish I had bought the dep wr200 pipe rather than go with the fmf now
