What are people running on my new dt i have a kings rear tyre and a golden tyre on the front and it feels like its on ice
-
Michelin K550 front and rear. Good, solid tyres. Good traction on roads and trails and they don't wear out too easily. Unfortunately Michelin stopped making them a couple years back I think... so finding stock can take time. I've currently got a pair of them going on my XT 125 though.

@andrewj1680 Which type of riding are you doing???

@CYBER-NINJA mainly on road i ended up ordering mitchelin comp 3 for the rear and comp 6 for the front they seemed to have good reviews

@andrewj1680 You will lose grip with knobbly tyres, compared to a road specific type tyre on tarmac. Knobbly tyres will give you loadsa grip and traction in the dirt and loose stuff, but are not very good for the road, especially in the wet. If you don't want the smooth road tyre look, then a tyre like the Avon Trailriders offer amazing grip whilst still retaining an off-road look, as they have very wide and deep cuts in the tread. I had them on my DTR and was extremely impressed with them and can highly recommend them.
