@declan im not that bothered it goes as fast as am bothered on a dirt bike but it's annoying knowing it's restricted some how and the feeling when it cuts ignition for a second bugs me
wrote on 1 Aug 2017, 21:11 last edited by@terry-tz yeah coming from my usual bikes the dt feels like a monster but would like a longer power curve so I need to get the restriction sorted

about time I was more active so let's get things moving new exhaust chain and sprockets first I think as the current exhaust is, to say the least, f!cked and chain seems to be stretching fast been readjusting more than normal

@calum brackets were not lining up from the silencer to the frame there not to far out I got one secure with a bit or thick tube as a washer makes it stand off a tad and might burn the plastics a bit and it wasn't very well lined up between the expansion and the silencer either il line it up better with a blow torch bit its fine for now its secure and hell ye it fits better than the old one that's been chicken shit welded im gonna only use one bracket anyway reason is to let there be a weak point for if its dropped ect minimise the damage but il cut the brackets off and re do the one il keep im in no rush to do this though

also, the front bracket won't too clever but it went on ok bent into shape as I tightened I had to remove the damper that goes there

It looks superb. Get some photos up of it on the bike. It's a shame the fitment isn't on, but the guy makes them by hand so I guess it only takes a few miscalculations for it to not align properly. Mine fitted fine on my bike, but it was much more versatile with it being underslung.
