@declan maybe it's a slight miss measure they are made in China and cost next to nothing do they measured by pressure
wrote on 21 Aug 2017, 15:50 last edited by@terry-tz no it's temp I think it's just the way they are set they are all like it
-
yea you can measure temp with pressure @declan don't know how accurate it is low temps that what made me wonder but it's probably just inaccurate at low temps dou to chinessium

Also, when the bike is shut off, them temperature gauge isnt touching the water properly.
Mine was dead set at 20C yesterday, but so was actual temp.

wrote on 22 Aug 2017, 12:26 last edited by@jens-eskildsen if you have the same one as me I'm certain that it will always be on 20 when cold

metals don't react very linearly at low and high temps this is a lie but not in a way that would be accurate in a small simple device or respond fast hence engine thermostats are sh!te I'm assuming they are made the same way so instead of opening they move the needle so it's probably just shit at low temps until like 40-50c total guess hope I'm not teaching to suck eggs I'm not knowledgeable on this subject just think it make's sense
