Does anyone know if these 2 are compatible in the same cylinder they both say 3bn and the one without the o rings next to the exhaust came from a 3mb cylinder

There is also a variation on the powervalve head I presume the diamond shape was mainly on UK models with the fixed powervalve so they could restrict power and then you could change it yourself from the 2 different settings where’s the rectangle one would only go in one way but I may be wrong

Hello has anyone used JB Weld before and do you think it can repair this it’s on the crankcase where the oil drain screw is, I’ve order some off amazon and should be here Friday.

Was wondering why I paid £40 for a bottom end seemed really cheap shat out the gearbox though I’ve got the selector and the selector forks but not the actual gears etc but there was loads of metal shavings in there I guess it could have drained all its oil over time and they kept running it as I know these gearbox’s are supposed to be indestructible.

@calum pretty sure they sell the aftermarket cranks on PJME as well

@tomfriston not sure about the RE or X but all DTR engines should fit just make sure the connectors on the engine match your wiring loom and everything should work

@biker_123 I recently had this problem, the way I got around it was using an impact gun on the bolt to jolt it then it all came apart really easy after

Check engine bolts around the frame if they come loose it will make the bike vibrate

My bike was stolen by someone I used to live with and they crashed it into a car without a helmet write it off bent off the frame and front end I had to cut the old frame just to get the engine out. that why I brought the frame and done all this but my insurance is over 500 now I payed 225 for my first year at 17 I’m now 21. I was a bit of a melt for only getting 3rd party but the police had to be called to help find where he’d left my bike, when it went to court all he got was 70 community service and I didn’t get any compensation as his dad had promised me but really they were longing me off hoping they didn’t have to pay

It’s also powder coated Matt black it was already that colour. done it to make it look new

So if I got it threw an mot and sold the frame with a v5 how much do you reckon I could get for it

Hello I have a frame that was imported from France, I have all the paperwork somewhere but I was wondering how much this frame would be worth. I’ve had it sandblasted and powder coated Matt black. All it need is to be assembled and put for an mot and then send off for the v5. I payed 330 for the frame and 75 for powder coating. Any interest or valuation is welcome thanks jimmy

Does anyone know a way of skimming the bottom or is this a machinist job

Hi I'm looking at a dt200wr cylinder from eBay and it looks like the bottom of the cylinder needs skimming I know how to do the top of the cylinder and head but it won't work as the bottom isn't flat thanks jimmy

Is there any benefit to raising the cylinder with a base riser and machining it down to raise port height or is this not recommended thanks jimmy

I don't know how to find the bushes can anyone tag me to the page where I can or give me the bush dimensions so I can find them on simply bearings thanks jimmy
