My local sand blaster charges approx £60 to do a frame and swing arm which makes it a no brainer over doing it yourself if you don't have the appropriate kit.
Your bike looks like someone has tried to jump on the current band wagon of the retro scrambler but missed the mark by a long way.
Your bike should be relatively easy to return to DTR style if all the original brackets etc are still present.

This is who i use;
Website is all cars but they do bike stuff for cash. If you know Nottingham they are near the Virgin Media HQ on the Colwick loop road.

They have to send it away. But yes, they offer that service, but don't do it personally.

I've added some more pics and an update. Yes, it's been a while, I got my big bike license and cars etc, so the little DT's been tucked away in the shed.
I'm hoping to keep working on it, but who knows, maybe I'll only be back in a couple years again.

Just cause you got your bike/car license doesn't mean the DT has to be relegated.

Yeah, it shouldn't should it! I'm keen to carry on, but that bolt has me beat.

Hi all
I have just purchased a dt125r sm 2006 looking at doing a full rebuild so any advice would be much appreciated starting with powder coating and were to get new fairing and if possible any recommendations on who can do an engine rebuild .
