Recommended screwdriver for clutch cover?

    These screws are awful, what size should i use? ph2 worked on 3 but the rest are way too tight I dont want to round any off!

      You need an impact driver really, then change them for stainless cap head screws. If they chew up completely you could cut a slot in the head then use a big slotted screwdriver.
      Or maybe try tapping them round with a centre punch?

        Or maybe try tapping them round with a centre punch?

        @finnerz89 that has saved my ass so many times never done a clutch though but yeah impact is ideal

          Ended up tapping a screwdriver whilst twisting & replaced them with hex heads! Cheers guys

            Definitely replace some stainless bolts lol.

            Just be careful how tight you do them, the bolts will be stronger than the engine cases, and you can risk stripping a thread.

              @calum yeah I was very careful not to over tighten them, who puts screws on an engine casing anyway lol

                  @calum should I of replaced the gasket? The old one was still in tact so I reused it oops
