Line the underside of your tank with heatproof asbestos or similar exhaust wrap if your worried, I done this to my water expansion tank as it touched my silencer, but really I wouldn't worry.

Asbestos! You are kidding! Buy some self adhesive heat reflecting foil readily available on ebay, used it on new side panels, easy to do.

In true blue Peter fashion here is one I prepared earlier. Would avoid anything containing any asbestos like the plague, not sure if modern exhaust wrap contains it any more, more likely to contain glass fibres now.

@irongamer727 I did the same mod as @oldman suggested. I used this stuff from ebay;
