Hi!
My package arrived, right now
tyga racing step, melloti complete kit, domino trothle, oil pump cover red and oil cap bc engineering, nck cr2 racing cable.
money flying in parts for this bike :face_with_tears_of_joy: and still so much too buy.
next parts all carbon parts from tyga and maybe yss shock absorver (not sure, if worth need some reviews first)
-
@pedrobatista10 Very tasty, this is what we like to see! Bling bling.
YSS shock is lovely. I found the rebound the stock, or pattern, shocks awful. YSS gives you nice adjustment and decent rebound. But is still "Budget". I couldn't justify the price for a more premium shock when the bike still actually hasn't been ridden yet. If you intend on doing lots of road riding, then shock is a worth while investment. An adjustable one that can be set up to your weight...even better.
-
@pedrobatista10 YSS is a quality brand for-sure. :thumbs_up_light_skin_tone:
-
Thank you for your opinion guys!
Yss will be on my bike then. For now, im dealing a rs 250 diablo nero, if i buy it. I need to stop parts for this one for a few time. But dont worry, i will still buy all parts i said in time for summer

Hi
Yesterday i tried ro fit the tyga racing kit step on my rs.But i had some problems fitting that.
@Calum when you installed yours it was plug n play? Or you did some modifications?
-
@pedrobatista10 Post some pics of the fitting issues you're having dude, as they may offer a better insight.
-
@Calum im not explaining very well, sorry. its not long. problem is big size, just dont fit that tyga part. tyga part is bigger then the side it fit on the engine.
i dont know if i explained right.
maybe @DanRacing can help me explaining.
-
@pedrobatista10 I would contact the supplier ASAP and get their advice dude. Normally you have 14 days to return stuff, so the sooner the better really.
-
@NINJA this part AP8121163 from tyga rear kit, doesnt fit on LEFT BALL JOINT M6 from motor.
can you guys understand what im saying? i hope i explained well.
anyways on tyga website they have for sale separately 2 different replacement link rod sizes.
1- TYGA STEP KIT REPLACEMENT LINK ROD, 238MM ------- Uses M8x1.25 thread in one end and M8x1.25 L/H thread in the other. 238mm in length.
2- TYGA STEP KIT REPLACEMENT LINK ROD, 110MM ------- Uses M6x1 thread in one end and M6x1 L/H thread in the other.
maybe my tyga rear kit come with m8, thats why dont fit on the original m6 from my bike.

You're talking about part No#7 in this pic I take it???
Do Tyga make kits for different versions of the RS? Perhaps the parts you have on your bike are not the originals???
-
@NINJA the 7 from tyga set doesnt fit on the original item 10 from my aprilia. aprilia use m6 and tyga made with m8. thats the problem. but i will find out another way
-
@pedrobatista10 OK so are the linkage rods the same length? If the original one's used a 6mm bolt and the new Tyga one's use an 8mm bolt, would that not mean that you will have to drill the fixing hole out to be 2mm larger? Or is there not enough metal there to do that???
-
@NINJA thats what i will need to do! Not fitting because 2mm difference
-
@pedrobatista10 So the rods are the same length, it's just the different size bolts which are the problem???
