Full working order mate, wanted for nothing but a service as it hadn't been used for a good while

      @Burridge Sounds mint,

Zeeltronic will fit your bike, Ignitech' will also make you a programmable Ignition based on the type of loom you have, check what's on the front of the standard CDI when you get her, Think all 1997' onwards models went to frame steering lock,

Worth some pennies for sure, have a look at 'Ignitech DCCPID2' units,

      Keep it real

Thanks for the info matey, just come back from having another look at it, had another go round the car park on it, fully pooed myself when it hit the power band and put a deposit on it straight away. Should get it Friday.
        Here she is :D![alt text])

@MIGHTYMAN it is mate, not a single thing changed!
I'm gonna feel guilty doing anything to it!
Can't find a patch of rust on it really, apart from abit of surface in the bars but I want some pro tapers anyway.

Passed my CBT again today, buzzing to get out on the DT I got home and got it insured, went to tax it and "the reference number you entered is invalid"
                        Thank you government!!
I apparently can't use the ref number on my new keepers section of the logbook as I'm "supposed" to have my v5 by now... But I don't, and I don't mind waiting so what's the fucking point in not letting me tax it with the new keepers slip exactly??

So yeah, all my hopes dashed and a whole week or 2 of build up to be stopped in my tracks by £15 worth of tax. Balls.

@Burridge That's crazy maybe they've added a few extra things in from when I done it back in the day but I think it lasted longer the first time I ever done the CBT training as a guy in the group couldnt get to grips with the gears on the bike and kept stalling 😂 and it held us all back for a good hour then he got told to go home and come back the next day! I don't know but 7 years ago one of the places round here more or less let just let my brother drive round the block a few times and followed him and gave him the CBT certificate and that was it guess it depends on the place you go to.

There is a place in london (Fusion motorcycles) that lets you do a CBT renewal. It's cheaper than usual at £60 and you go straight onto the road, ride around a few roundabouts, do an emergency brake, a U turn thing, back to the centre and get your certificate.

We did the whole thing in an hour. Not sure how legit the center is, but the issued certificate is 100%.

Saves some time and money if you're near london next time around.

@Burridge What pipe you deciding on?

I did enjoy the power from the DEP. Just accept it'll rust like no tomorrow, but will hold its value.

It's a damn lot lighter than the stock pipe too!

@Calum one of Romeu's stainless pipes hopefully, and I've got a dep off eBay for £40 just waiting for it to arrive, it's been welded at the flange and generally looks abit shagged but I bought it for the end can which I'll polish up and put on my new pipe when I get one.
If it's structurally sound then I'll put it on for abit though! Otherwise just the can on standard pipe until the time comes 🙂
